Life is beautiful - Tuscany - Central Italy

Tuscany is a land where time seems to have stopped, where each sense can find the perfect reward, from the beauty of the landscape to the richness of its tasty cuisine, from the perfumes of the green countryside to the melodious concerts of nature and art. A place where the mind can find a safe harbour from the frantic life of today.
Tuscany is not only Florence but a countless variety of ancient walled villages nestled on its gentle hills. San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Cortona... In Arezzo Roberto Benigni shot his winning oscar movie and here you will discover why you can truly say that "Life is beautiful". Losing our way in its narrow alleys we'll get under the balcony where, we too, we'll shout for "Maria, getta la chiave" (Mary, throw the key).

A stay here obviously means art, culture, history, but above all... discovery. We'll contemplate the beauty of the places that inspired Michelangelo to fresco the Cappella Sistina and we'll meet painter Alessandro De Vivo in the village of Caprese Michelangelo.
In Cortona, a gorgeous medieval walled town, Maurizio and his pack of "truffle" dogs promises to take us to discover the secret places where the "king" of refined cuisine grows.
And did you know that in Chiusdino, some 20 kms south of Siena, you can really see the sword in the stone you have only heard about in the Arthurian saga? Montesiepi's Round hosts in fact the tomb of Saint Galgano, who devoted himself to spiritual life after being a soldier in the XIII century.

Italy is the paradise of taste and Tuscany is a wise example of gentleness, creativity and perfection. Look at some photos on your right. At La Bucaccia restaurant, owner Romano is a master of hospitality and wise combination of flavours, while chef Emiliano welcomes you at Osteria del Teatro, with classical music in the background. Here worldwide famous stars of singing and acting often come and meeting some of them is not difficult.
Near Arezzo is also Poggio Cennina, a fantastic natural resort situated on the heights overlooking the Val d'Ambra. It was here that Italian football world champion Paolo Rossi created a magical place, far from the frantic rhythm of today's life, where the passage of time is marked by the rising and setting of the sun and the coming and going of seasons in their different colours.
